The 2024 elections took a toll on the collective consciousness of our country. Many had reservations about Vice President Harris and President-elect Trump, and wondered why we couldn’t identify a viable alternative candidate.
Following an intense campaign that you couldn’t have missed if you tried, thanks to overwhelming traditional and social media coverage and celebrity endorsements (from Joe Rogan, Elon Musk, and X to Beyonce, Bad Bunny, and Tik Tok) there was a clear winner of the Presidential election. However, the lack of challenges or recounts doesn’t mean that the results haven’t caused significant division between family, friends, and neighbors.
So, where do we go from here? With Inauguration Day quickly approaching, are we able to challenge our perceptions and paradigms? Instead of holding fast to long-held beliefs, can we really talk to one another and find common ground, despite our differences?
