Davis, Agnor, Rapaport & Skalny, LLC (DARS) advised Clark’s Ace Hardware, a 179-year-old hardware retailer with two locations in Maryland, in connection with its acquisition by Westlake Ace Hardware, a leading hardware retailer with more than 150 stores in 12 states, in addition to a business-to-business division serving larger clients.

Both brands boast a historic reputation. Clark’s has been in the Clark family for seven generations since opening as a farm supply store in Ellicott City more than 175 years ago. Westlake has been in operation for almost 120 years and has been a part of the Ace Hardware brand since 1959.
