Erick Kim Joins Davis, Agnor, Rapaport & Skalny, LLC

We are pleased to announce that Erick Kim has joined the firm as an attorney in the Business Planning & Transactions Practice Group, focusing on advising business owners, mergers and acquisitions, intellectual property, business and succession planning, and exit strategies.

Prior to joining the firm, Erick worked with a large firm in Baltimore, where he worked on multi-million dollar mergers and acquisitions in multiple markets, including technology, manufacturing, research & development, professional services, and franchises. His practice also focused on private equity investment and financing, capital markets transactions, corporate governance, and regulatory compliance. Erick previously served as Assistant General Counsel at the University of Maryland, Baltimore County, and as Legal Counsel to the Chief Information Officer for the Department of Justice, where he negotiated government contracts, and technology licenses, provided counsel to minimize privacy risks, and conducted cybersecurity analyses.

Erick received his J.D., magna cum laude, from the University of Maryland Francis King Carey School of Law, where he was Champion of the National Invitational Championship Lone Star Classic Competition, and semi-finalist in the William Daniel National Mock Trial Competition. Erick received his B.A. in Economics from the University of California, Davis, where he was Phi-Alpha-Delta. He is admitted to the bar in Maryland, and is a member of the Maryland State Bar Association.
